Announcement for New Schedule of BA/BE 2011 Symposium
Dear all,
First of all, we, the organizing committee of BA/BE2011 symposium, wish to express our deep sorrow on the tremendous loss of life and damage caused by the earthquake and tsunami attacked to northeast and east Japan on March 11, 2011.
Now we are pleased to announce you the final decision of the committee to hold the BA/BE2011 symposium in the following manner.
Date:June 29th – July 1st, 2011
Place: Kobe International Conference Center

Most of speakers and committee members are able to join the re-scheduled Symposium in spite of an immediate schedule change. New program of the Symposium will be provided soon on the web site.
On-line registration for participation has resumed along with a revised schedule. The ones who have already completed the registration are automatically registered to the Symposium in Kobe. If you are unable to attend unfortunately, we will refund your payment without any charge. According to the revised policy, cancellation will be accepted until May 31, 2011.
However, please be aware that, still the trouble of nuclear plant is not under control and now many countries have cautioned about the trip to Japan. Although Kobe is geographically safer from the trouble and we believe Japan can overcome this terrible situation before June, if the situation becomes worse and we cannot ensure the safety of all participants, we have to cancel the Symposium. Information will be continuously updated on the web site according to the situation.
